Body type classification according to Dr. Berg

Body type classification according to Dr. Berg

Each body type has its own characteristics. This test helps to understand which type is more pronounced in you.

The aim of the test is not to diagnose but to suggest what might be happening in the body and what could be improved.

Before the main test, there are 7 preliminary questions:

  1. Have you had your gallbladder removed?
  2. Have you ever been found to have stones in your gallbladder?
  3. Have you noticed that weight does not come off on high-protein diets (for example, like the Atkins diet)?
  4. Do you have aversion or discomfort when consuming large amounts of protein-rich food?
  5. Do you have difficulty tolerating fatty foods, especially in the evening?
  6. Have you ever had diagnosed liver problems in the past?
  7. Do you have a protruding, bloated belly (“pot belly”)?

If you answered “Yes” to at least one of them, it is likely that your main type is liver, and you may not need to take the main test.

Women in menopause or postmenopause should answer questions of type D considering whether they have had such symptoms before.
