The questionnaire contains 6 questions about well-being and related sensations over the past week, divided into three groups.
The first group consists of questions about the presence of symptoms that support the diagnosis of GERD: heartburn and regurgitation (the rapid movement of liquids or gases in the opposite direction to normal).
The second group includes questions about symptoms whose frequent occurrence casts doubt on the diagnosis of GERD: nausea and epigastric pain.
The third group consists of questions about the impact of the disease on quality of life, supporting the diagnosis of GERD: sleep disturbances and the use of additional medications due to existing GERD symptoms.
