How to combine strength and recovery
Plan two or three strength sessions per week and leave time between hard sessions. Aerobic activity can stay in the schedule, but demanding leg work is best kept away from a long, intense endurance session. Sleep, adequate energy, and protein support recovery; neither coffee, a supplement, nor a special breathing method replaces these basics.
Bracing means creating a stable trunk before the repetition. Take a controlled breath, tighten the abdominal wall, and keep the spine in a stable position without holding the breath longer than the safe phase requires. Reduce weight or volume if technique deteriorates, joint pain increases, sleep worsens for several days, or unusual breathlessness or a rapid pulse cannot be explained by the effort. Chest pain, fainting, and sudden weakness require stopping the session and seeking medical assessment. After a break, return with an easier variation and test tolerance gradually.
