Nutritionist from Yaroslavl, Evgenia Zharikova, shared a simple and effective way to organize proper nutrition that helps control weight and improve body shape. She recommends using the so-called "plate division method."
The essence of the method is that the plate is divided into three parts:
- half of the plate is allocated for fresh vegetables;
- one quarter of the plate – for proteins;
- one quarter of the plate – for carbohydrates.
According to Zharikova, this division allows for a balanced diet and contributes to weight loss by reducing carbohydrate intake and increasing vegetable consumption.
How to Get Used to the Plate Division Method
The nutritionist recommends approaching this method gradually, starting with small portions of vegetables and protein, which are gradually increased, replacing part of the carbohydrates. To avoid boredom in the diet, she advises experimenting with different products and cooking methods, as well as keeping a food diary.
- Use small plates for visual portion control.
- Gradually increase the amount of vegetables while reducing carbohydrate products.
- Include fresh vegetables in breakfast, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach in omelets or salads.
- Record what you eat for self-control.
The expert emphasizes that this method does not require drastic restrictions or fasting, but is based on healthy and balanced nutrition, which positively affects well-being and the sustainability of results.
