5. The impact of various mind-body interaction methods on the mental health of pregnant women: a systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
About the work.
The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of various mind-body methods for improving the mental health of pregnant women. Six interventions were considered: MBCP, MBSR, MBCT, CBT, music, and yoga.
Results.
MBSR showed a significant reduction in depression, anxiety, and stress compared to the control group. Yoga significantly reduced pain and increased self-efficacy. MBCP demonstrated a significant improvement in mindfulness.
4. Characterization of the use of digital mindfulness interventions and weekly assessments among caregivers of individuals with dementia: a secondary analysis of a randomized controlled trial.
About the work.
The aim of this analysis was to study changes in levels of mindfulness and stress among caregivers of individuals with dementia over 12 weeks. The impact of using a digital mindfulness program on these indicators was investigated.
Results.
The greatest reduction in stress was observed between baseline and week three (-2 points on average), while the greatest increase in mindfulness occurred between baseline and week four (+2.5 points on average). A significant relationship was established between baseline mindfulness and baseline stress levels.
3. A self-directed mobile mindfulness intervention embedded in daily routines for adults with mild to moderate psychological distress: a randomized controlled trial.
About the work.
This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a self-directed mobile mindfulness program embedded in daily routines among adults with mild to moderate psychological disorders. Results were compared with traditional mindfulness methods and an educational program.
Results.
Significant group effects on depression symptoms were identified at the post-intervention stage. The HMP program demonstrated benefits comparable to traditional mindfulness methods but did not provide advantages in engagement or short-term effectiveness.
2. Self-directed complementary and integrative health approaches for chronic pain and PTSD: a comprehensive review.
About the work.
This review covers systematic studies and meta-analyses of self-directed complementary and integrative medicine methods for treating chronic pain and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Various approaches such as yoga, meditation, and tai chi/qigong were evaluated.
