Peel the ginger root (50 g) and grate it using a fine grater.
Take a pot and pour in water (3000 ml). Add sweetener to taste, cloves (4-5 pieces), and the grated ginger.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.
After that, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool slightly. Squeeze the juice from the lemons (3 pieces) into the pot.
Lightly crush the mint leaves (8-10 pieces) with your hands and add them to the pot as well.
Cover the pot with a lid and let it sit overnight at room temperature. The next day, pour the lemonade into a pitcher and store it in the refrigerator.
