French Press Coffee
Coffee provides caffeine, polyphenolic compounds, and a small amount of magnesium. A coarse grind and a four-minute steep create a full-bodied brew that keeps much of its natural oil. Pour it out of the press immediately so the grounds do not intensify the extraction.

Heat water (500 g) to 95°C and grind coffee (30 g) coarsely. Add the coffee to the French press and level the grounds.
Pour in all the hot water, start the timer, and steep for 4 minutes.
Press the plunger down slowly and pour the coffee into cups immediately so the grounds do not keep extracting in the water.
