Skillet beef burger patties
Beef provides complete protein and iron. A short high-heat sear creates a browned crust without a bun or unnecessary additions.
Remove ground beef (350 g) from the refrigerator and let it stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. Divide it into 2 portions of about 175 g and gently shape flat patties.
Season the patties with salt and pepper immediately before cooking. Heat a skillet over high heat, add ghee (15 g), and cook the patties for 2-4 minutes on the first side without moving them. Turn them, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium doneness.
Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes so the juices redistribute.
