To prepare Chili sauce, you will need the following ingredients:
- Egg yolk (1 piece)
- Garlic (2 cloves)
- Any oil (180 ml)
- Ground hot pepper or chili flakes (0.5 tsp)
- Salt (0.5 tsp)
- Black ground pepper (0.25 tsp)
- Lemon juice (1 tbsp)
- Heavy sour cream or cream cheese (3 tbsp)
Press the garlic into a bowl. Then add the egg yolk and mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
Next, slowly add the oil in a thin stream, constantly whisking vigorously with a whisk or blender to make the sauce thick and homogeneous.
After that, whisk the heavy sour cream or cream cheese into the mixture. Add the remaining spices.
Chili sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
