Sesame buns
A source of healthy fats and protein, these buns provide satiety and support energy levels. Sesame adds a nutty flavor and is rich in calcium, while lemon adds freshness. Perfect for a keto diet.
Beat the eggs (2 pcs) with a pinch of salt. Add butter (30–40 g) and baking soda (1/2 tsp), previously quenched with lemon juice (a few drops). Mix well.
Sift the sesame flour and gradually add it to the mixture, kneading the dough. Add flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
Shape the dough into a round bun and place it on a baking sheet. Bake at 180 °C until done. Check with a toothpick.
Remove the bun, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and let it cool.
The bun can be used instead of bread or as a base for a burger. For this, cut it in half, spread with a keto-friendly sauce, add lettuce leaves and a patty.
