This homemade chicken liver pate is rich, smooth, and filling without relying on bread or sugar. It works well as a keto snack, breakfast spread, or simple cold appetizer.

How to make it

  1. Pour boiling water over 500 g of chicken liver and leave it for 10 minutes, then drain.
  2. Chop 200 g of onion, 150 g of carrot, and 10 g of garlic. Saute the vegetables in 25 g of ghee until soft.
  3. Add the liver, 4 g of sea salt, and 1 g of black pepper, then cook for 10-12 minutes until the liver is fully done.
  4. Transfer everything to a blender, add the remaining 25 g of ghee, and blend until smooth.
  5. Chill before serving so the pate firms up and spreads more easily.
