Soak the poppy seeds (100 g) in boiling water and leave for 20-30 minutes to soften.
Drain the water and, if desired, grind the poppy seeds in a blender or coffee grinder for a more uniform texture.
In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the 33% fat cream (50-60 ml). Then add the softened poppy seeds and mix the ingredients thoroughly.
When the mixture becomes uniform, add the butter (1 tbsp), stevia (30-40 g), and vanilla extract (1/2 tsp).
Continue to cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the filling thickens. This will take about 5-10 minutes.
Once the filling has thickened, add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
Remove the filling from the heat and allow it to cool. As it cools, it will become thicker and denser.
