First, heat the pan over medium heat and add oil (10 ml).
As soon as the oil starts to heat up, add garlic (1-2 cloves) and rosemary (1 sprig) to the pan. Sauté them for about 15-20 seconds, until the garlic turns golden and the rosemary begins to release its aroma. Then, using tongs, carefully remove the garlic and rosemary from the pan.
Now place the filet mignon (250–300 g) in the pan and sear it on each side for 40 seconds, also don’t forget to sear the edges to “seal” in the juices of the meat.
Once the steak is browned, transfer it to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven to your desired doneness.
