Turkey Drumsticks in Sour Cream Mustard Marinade
Turkey provides complete protein, selenium, and B vitamins, while long baking makes the drumsticks softer. Sour cream and Dijon mustard help create a savory crust without sugar.
Slice onion (100 g) into rings and crush it lightly with your hands. Press garlic (20 g), then rinse turkey drumsticks (1200 g, 4 pcs) and dry them well.
Mix sour cream 30% (35 g), Dijon mustard (15 g), olive oil (15 g), pepper blend (2 g), caraway (1 g), tarragon (1 g), thyme (1 g), rosemary (1 g), and table salt. Add the onion and garlic, then coat the drumsticks with the marinade on all sides.
Cover the dish and refrigerate the turkey for at least 8 hours. Before baking, transfer the drumsticks and onion to a roasting dish.
Bake at 170°C for about 90 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 150°C and cook for 60 minutes more. The drumsticks are ready when the meat pulls away from the bone easily and the internal temperature near the bone reaches about 74°C.
